DAY 1 - From Como Lake to Lugano

Bike itinerary: 70 km and 1'000 meters (uphill) altitude gap

Meeting on Saturday early afternoon in Bellagio at the Charming Bellagio Boutique Hotel. Briefing and welcome drink. Application of the Covid19 protocol for the health and serenity of all participants. Departure for the 1st ride with an exciting transfer of cyclists (without bicycles) aboard the motorboat Vaporina Ernesto Riva to reach the other shore. Initially your guides will drive you along the lake till to Villa del Balbianello where we’ll visit this wonderful location. Then, the cycling tour will continue with the ascent to reach the Italian-Swiss border, running along Lake Lugano till to the beginning of the climb towards Val d’Intelvi between the two lakes. The descent to Laglio will precede the aperitif-dinner at the historic “La Sciostra”: here, you’ve got the possibility to share with your partner/family this magic moment. Return to the hotel will be again on board the Vaporina.

DAY 2 - The epic Ghisallo and Sormano wall

Bike itinerary: 50 km and 1’300 meters (uphill) altitude gap

Breakfast at the hotel and meeting with your guides. The road starts to climb after a few kilometers, you’ll be on the ramps of the legendary Ghisallo in a few minutes. A visit of the cycling museum at the top of the climb is a “must”, before going downhill towards the last important ascent of the day: the “Piani del Tivano”. Only the bravest will approach the epic “Muro di Sormano”, 300 meters of altitude gap and less than two kilometers with maximum slopes up to 25%. The landscape and the “open air” picnic will repay you for the hard effort. ***end of services***

Remarks:
in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances of force majeure, the reservation will be valid till 30 June 2022, for the same tour or for a different one with a possible 10% surchage (max).
