An active holiday for sports and fun enthusiasts. We'll start with a horse-riding excursion, then a magnificent bike ride inside a protected oasis. There will also be room for an evocative coastal trekking and we'll prepare you to paddle a kayak among vegetation and art on the river Temo. Gastronomy? That will be typical every day thanks to your stays in genuine farmhouses where you'll experience the welcoming hospitality of the local people.
Programme
PROGRAMME FOR MINIMUM 2 PEOPLE
DAY 1
The starting point of the itinerary will be the Aghero area which you'll arrive at via your own or rented vehicle. The morning will be free. The evening will feature a magnificent horseriding excursion and a tour off the beaten track, passing through the surroundings of Sardinia's only natural reservoir, Lake Baratz, and ending your 'trot' on the beach at Porto Ferro, exploring all the magnificent geo-mineral territory that characterises the area. Overnight stay and dinner at a typical farm-stay in the area.
DAY 2
A wonderful morning in the middle of nature and breathtaking views. You'll be delighted to ride through a protected oasis and see white donkeys, Sardinian horses, and fallow deer while admiring the majestic flight of the Griffon Vultures. The beautiful and low-impact path will take you from the hinterland towards the coast. In front of you will be a fascinating island that will surely leave you breathless. The evening is free. Accommodation and dinner at a typical farm-stay in the area
DAY 3
A coastal trek in the Capo Marrargiu area is on for just after breakfast. On this fantastic route, you'll be accompanied by an expert guide and have a change to admire the lesser known parts of Sardinia. Small covesprotected by gigantic cliffs covered with Mediterranean scrub, a beautiful contrast between the blue of the sea and the green of the plants that gives rise to crazy colours, all combined with the nuances of sand and rock. The evening is free. Accommodation and dinner at a typical local farm-stay.
DAY4
A morning kayak trip up the river Temo in Bosa of about 5 km through wild nature and the beautiful village with its historic centre, colourful houses and the famous Malaspina Castle.
